To be able to take this photo, to get the long nosed man’s long nose all in the picture, I had to climb on top of a utility hut in Rødvig Harbour, where the fish catches come in. I tore my trousers doing it, as climbing with a camera swinging at my neck made it a peculiar half blind endeavour. Please note that no cat was involved, not even watching, but a seagull was; he thought I was preparing for flight. When I was up there I had to stand to my full height, which seemed more than usual, in order to get the nose in.....The long nosed man was very pleased that I took such trouble over him, but his cold got no better.
